each with an ovoid body rising from a spreading foot to a tall wasited neck with galleried rim, flanked by a pair of pink-enamelled dragon handles, the exterior painted with figural landscape panels of court scenes and temple ceremonies enclosed within blue kui dragon borders, reserved against a ground of flowers and foliage scattered with birds and butterflies
Condition
On one vase, there is a scratch to the enamel measuring approx. 1.5 cm to the lower half of one panel. For both vases there are scattered iron spots and burst bubbles throughout, particularly to the base and the interior. There are also wear to the gilding to the rim for both.
