  • including examples by Sir William Forbes, 6th Bt. (1739-1806); the artist signing W.D; and one by Jean Claude Nattes
  • Twenty-three, fifteen red chalk; one pencil; the reminder counter-proofs; each on laid paper;
    one signed: W.F.; two signed W.D., and one signed: J. C. Nattes; several dated between 1764 and 1767

Condition

These works are in generally good condition. There is some minor surface dirt to many of the sheets and occasional minor tears and creases, but overall they have been well preserved.
