i) [Forbes, Sir William]. A Sermon preached in the Episcopal Chapel, Cowgate, Edinburgh…the day after the funeral of Sir William Forbes of Pitsligo, Bart. [Edinburgh]: Ballentyne and Co, [c.1807], presentation copy inscribed by William Forbes, original black wrappers;
ii) [Forbes Family]. Genealogy of the Family of Forbes. Inverness: Printed at the Journal Office, 1819, three-quarter red morocco, repaired, pencil annotations throughout;

ii) Copper plate depicting an older Sir William Forbes (268 x 204mm.; image size 152 x 124mm.), by Thomas Woolnoth after Archibald Skirving, together with 12 impressions;
iii) Dispatch box, engraved on a small plaque 'Sir John Stuart Bt Fettercairn', containing a large quantity of Forbes family armorial bookplates (including c.200 bookplates of Sir William Forbes dated 1760, c.270 morocco bookplates, c.40 multicoloured bookplates and c.25 bookplates of Sir John H.S. Forbes with the original copper plate), five plates for various calling cards and 13 calling cards of Sir John Stuart Forbes;
iii) Several photographic portraits of members of the Forbes family, together in another dispatch box;
iv) Numerous documents and papers, including a group on Forbes and Belsches family genealogy (including several large manuscript family trees), a letter of sympathy to Sir Sir John Murray Belsches from numerous well-wishers dated 19 September 1862, three royal warrants of appointment to the Queen's Body Guard naming Sir John Stuart Forbes, 1845-1861, letters and documents relating to the construction of a threshing mill, c.1802
