Four travelling necessaires, circa 1800 and earlier

comprising two silver-mounted shagreen etuis, the smaller complete with four lancets, cutler: Price, the larger containing silver, steel and tortoiseshell implements, 7.2cm., 2 3/4 in. and 14.5cm., 3 3/4 in. ; a tortoiseshell example, with three implements, 9cm., 3 1/2 in. ; and an earlier travelling tortoiseshell knife and fork with silver-mounts, maker's mark AB in a heart, the knife blade with cutler's mark, in a leather sheath, 18.5cm., 7 1/4 in.
