RARE HAND-COLOURED PUBLICATION, explaining the experiments with "Scotch" farming that Loudon and his father carried out in England. Though the title page calls for 40 plates, the work is complete with 38 as explained on page 12. Some pages misnumbered (7/8 and 17/18 skipped, 59/60 doubled).
