A rare Bombay imprint by the famed missionary John Wilson (1804-1875), a Scottish Presbyterian missionary and teacher in India, who engaged in discussions and confrontations with religious leaders both in public and in print.
Lithography was introduced to Bombay in the 1820s, making thisĀ an early example.
