Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the black is deeper and richer and the grey tones are slightly lighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. The larger sheet is hinged verso to the mount in the upper two corners and has an artist's pinhole in the upper and lower left corners. The collaged sheet undulates slightly and all collaged elements appear to be stable. Close inspection reveals some light handling with associated rubmarks in places along the edges of the collaged sheet, most of which are possibly original. There is discolouration to the outer edge of the larger sheet, some of which is the result of previous mounting and hinging, as well as handling marks and creases and a small tear to the sheet in the upper right corner, which is only visible when unframed.
