baluster-form painted with continuous classical scenes, enameled with birds and swags inside rims, repeated inside covers and inside bases, borders of Renaissance ornaments with projecting female masks and winged putto heads, on four strapwork supports headed by lion heads, winged female caryatid handles, Minerva finials

Condition

one with minor damage at shoulders, examined under blacklight and found small restorations to both covers, one with numerous restorations to Renaissance borders, overall good
