each reserved on the front with a still life arrangement of colorful flowers or fruit and tooled on the reverse with classical architectural motifs, G mark in underglaze-blue.
Condition
There is some occasional and minor rubbing to the gilding on the square base of each vase as well as some occasional scratching to the gilding on the back.
The vase on the right in the catalogue illustration has its right handle broken off and well restored back. There is also restoration to the upper part of the lower body of the vase, above the stem, possibly covering a small chip. The other vase has restoration to the palmette on the lower terminal of the right handle as well as to the lower body of the vase above the stem; the exact nature of the damage is not apparent. Otherwise in good condition.
