Finely painted to show beautiful nymphs in diaphanous robes surrounded by winged putti and colorful flowers, signed MAXANT, the covers with spurious blue interlaced LL marks in blue enamel.
Condition
Each in overall good condition and presentation with surface wear, residue and grime to the porcelain, as well as rubbing to the gilt mounts, consistent with age, use and atmospheric changes. One lid having a few firing cracks visible from the interior of the lid's rim, but not visible from the exterior as the lid rests on the vessel.
