depicted standing in front of a Moroccan style table and holding a candle, the base indistinctly signed, stamped 1291/9/20 and inscribed Friedrich Goldscheider, Vienna
Condition
In overall good condition and presentation. The figure was previously wired for electricity as a lamp, as evidenced by a hole at the elbow of the figure's right arm and the socket within the candlestick in his hands. There are few areas of minor losses to the painted decoration. The figure's right foot shows restoration from the top of the foot into the integral base, but unsure of the extent of the restoration.
