Description

  • marked with city mark on foot of pot, all pieces marked throughout with crown tax mark and with assay scrapes, apparently no maker's mark

comprising a chocolate pot with duck-form spout, an alcancia, and three cups, the nuts carved with reserves of foliage, applied throughout with fully-modeled flowerheads on leafy stems, the handles applied with grapevine

Condition

all nuts with restored cracks, the foot of one cup cracked, another repaired with glue, two cups with a section of silver collar missing
