A l'oeil nu : Le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation très satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage réalisé très probablement dans la première moitié du XXème siècle, correctement réalisé bien qu'un peu fort. Il a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage réalisé relativement récemment et également correctement réalisé. Le tableau a une belle matière et on ne remarque pas de restauration à l'oeil nu. A la lampe U.V. : Le tableau apparaît sous un très léger vernis vert. On remarque quelques reprises dans le ciel, quelques retouches dans le bas, notamment dans le coin inférieur droit. Signalons aussi une petite reprise au niveau des personnages au centre. To the naked eye : The painting appears in a very satisfactory condition. It has been well re-canvased althought a little too strong, probably during the fist half of the 20th century. The painting has been cleaned relatively recently, also well done. It has a good painted surface and we do not observe any restoration to the naked eye. Under U.V. light : The painting appears under a slight green varnish. We notice a few restorations in the sky and to the bottom, notably in lower right corner. We can also observe a little restoration on the center figures.
