Condition

To the naked eye, the painting is in a reasonably good condition. It has been relined in the second half of the 20th century, in a way that did not flattened the paint surface. It is under an old dirty varnish. There are few lacks of painting in the upper part, and a small scratch of varnish in the center and a small scratch in the fireplace. Under the UV light : under a thick dirty varnish. We don't see any restoration. Sold without frame.
