- Bust of the painter Noël-Nicolas Coypel (1690-1734)
- bearing a signature and a date JB. Lemoyne fecit 1732
- patinated terracotta
- Haut. 63.5 cm ; height. 25 in.
Condition
Overall the condition of the terracotta bust is very good with minor surface dirt, especially in the crevices, consistent with age and handling. There are stable hairline firing fissures at several places consistent with the material. There are a few minor chips at several places to the high points of the drapery and along the lower edge of the integral base.
