A l'oeil nu, le tableau apparaît dans un état de conservation très satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un réentoilage très correctement réalisé il y a environ une cinquantaine d'années. Il est sous un vernis un peu sale, qui a besoin d'être allégé. Le tableau est vendu sans cadre. A la lampe UV : Il est sous un vernis vert uniforme. On remarque quelques très légères reprises dans les fonds et quelques petits points dans le visage et la perruque. To the naked eye, the painting is in a very fine overall condition. It has been relined in a very fine way in the second half of the XXth century. It is under a varnu a bit dirty that needs to be litghted. Sold without frame. Under the UV light : even green varnish. Few very small repainted areas in the background and in the wig and face.
