A l'œil nu, le tableau est dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un réentoilage correctement réalisé dans la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, correctement réalisé. Il est sous un vernis sale, encrassé qui aurait besoin d'être allégé. Il possède une très belle matière, bien préservée. On constate un accident au centre au niveau du drapé rouge. Il y a des petits manques très partiels vers le bord inférieur. A la lampe UV : Il est sous un vernis vert uniforme. On constate des restaurations le long du bord inférieur. To the naked eye, the painting is in a good overall condition. It has been relined in a good way in the first half of the XXth century. It is under a dirty varnish which would need to be lightened. It has a nice painted surface, very well preserved. There is a minor accident in the red drapery. There are some minor lacks of painting around the lower edge. Under the UV light : it is under a green even varnish. There are few restoration along the lower edge.
