Le tableau apparaît dans un très bel état de conservation. Il est toujours sur sa toile et son châssis d'origine. Le tableau a une très belle matière et de beaux empâtements. Le vernis est un peu brillant même s'il ne semble pas récent. On remarque légèrement la marque du châssis sur la toile d'origine. Le tableau est sans cadre. A la lampe UV : le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert uniforme. On remarque quelques restaurations dans le ciel au centre, sous le personnage du moine franciscain et dans le sol à gauche. The painting is in a very good overall condition. It is still on its original canvas and chassis. It has a nice painted surface and some beautiful impasto. The varnish is a bit bright even if it does not seem new. We can see a bit the chassis trace through the original canvas. Sold without frame. Under the UV light the painting is under a green uniformly varnish. We can see few restorations in the sky at the centre and under the Franciscan monk and in the ground at the left of the composition.
