A l'oeil nu, le tableau est dans un état de conservation relativement satisfaisant. Il a fait l'objet d'un réentoilage à la cire un peu fort. Il a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage relativement récent et un peu fort qui a supprimé des glacis dans les parties sombres. A la lampe UV, on constate un nettoyage partiel dans les parties claires du vernis. Quelques fines reprises dans le ciel et le sol. To the naked eye, the painting is in a reasonably good condition. It has been relined using wax in a bit strong way. It has been recently cleaned and the cleaning made some glazing disappear in the dark areas. Under the UV light, we see a bit of the old varnish partially cleaned. Few some restorations in the sky and the ground.
