Condition

The painting has been relined. Under UV light, a repaint (approx. 9cm high) appears in the background between the seated woman in the middle and the woman looking towards us right next to her ; a certain number of repaints are scattered on the surface : in the wooden areas in the background, on the modist's face and on the woman in the back standing up's hair and face. The matter is used in some areas where light restorations are observable.
