Condition

The painting is in a reasonnably good overall condition. It has been relined in a way that did not flattened the painted surface. It is under a very dry and dirty varnish. We can see several abrasion in the darker part of the composition, on the fabric covering the table and in the shadow under the book on the table. There is stain on the varnish (quite superficial and visible on the picture). Under the UV light : it is under a green uniform varnish. Very superficial retouches in the red tablecloth.
