A l'œil nu, les deux portraits apparaissent dans des états de conservation très satisfaisant. Ils ont fait l'objet d'un réentoilage réalisés dans la première moitié du XXe siècle, très correctement, qui n'a pas tassé la matière picturale. Ils ont gardé une belle matière porcelaine, avec de beaux glacis, bien préservés. Ils sont sous un vernis ancien. On remarque, pour le portrait d'homme, un réseau de craquelure un peu visible mais qui ne gêne pas la lecture de l'œuvre. Pour le portrait de femme, on remarque une petite égratignure de vernis au niveau du visage et un petit manque dans le fond à droite. A la lampe UV : vernis vert uniforme. On ne remarque pas de restaurations. To the naked eye, both portraits are in a very good condition. They both have been relined in the first half of the XXth century very well made wich did not flattened the painted surface. They kept a beautiful porcelain colour with beautiful glazing, well preserved. They are under old varnish. We can see for the man portrait a network of cracks a bit visible but which does not disturb the general impression of the work. The woman portrait has a small crack in the varnish and a small lack of painting in the background at the right of the composition. Under the UV light : green even varnish. We can not see any restoration.
