New York, Michael Werner, Aaron Curry: The Colour Out of Space, March - April 2009
Condition
Colour:
The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the pinks and purples tend more towards neon and magenta in the original and the illustration fails to convey the metallic nature of the base.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a number of unobtrusive chips to the wooden areas of the sculpture. Further inspection reveals some faint hairline scratches to the base of the work. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
