The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals a minute speck of loss to the green pigment at the centre of the bottom edge and two tiny fly spots in the centre of the right hand edge. Further very close inspection reveals some drying cracks to the black pigment to the centre of the composition and to the black pigment on the centre of the left hand edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
