Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the greens tend more towards yellow in the original and it fails to convery the sparkly quality of the glitter. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The work is attached verso to the backing board in all four corners.

Catalogue Note

“If they relate to any particular genre, it would be the still life. And so they can touch on these different themes: printing, childhood, Matisse, sexuality, flowers” (Jan Tumlir cited in: Stephen Berens and Jan Tumlir, ‘Still Lifing: Conversation with Laura Owens’, X.TRA, Winter 2014, online).
