Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are some areas of craquelure, notably to the left hand edge next to the table and the to the mantelpiece centre right edge. There is some rubbing and abrasion to the framing edges. There is a slightly discoloured and uneven layer of surface varnish.
UV light inspection reveals no evidence of any retouching or restoration.
Held in a decorative gilt frame.
