Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are some areas of craquelure, notably to the figure's thigh, his seat and to the right of the mirror. There is some surface dirt and the work may benefit from a light clean.
UV light inspection reveals a possible area of retouching in the upper left hand quadrant.
Held in a gilded frame.
