Catalogue Note
During the early 60s Christo spent some time in Geneva, visiting close friends living near the lake. These Swiss journeys inspired some very interesting figurative works but also some impressive so-called “packings” which are iconic in the artist's work throughout his career.
Während den frühen 60er Jahren verbrachte Christo einige Zeit in Genf um enge Freunde zu besuchen. Diese Zeit in der Schweiz war die Inspiration für einige seiner interessanten figurativen Werke aber auch für einige beindruckende "Verpackungsarbeiten", welche ikonisch für sein künstlerischen Schaffen waren.
