Catalogue Note
In 1998 Scarfe was asked to design costumes and scenery for Los Angeles Opera's Fantastic Mr Fox. The opera, written by Tobias Picker, was commissioned for the Roald Dahl Foundation and premiered during December 1998. This drawing represents a mood and costume drawing.
