Provenance

Acquired between 1970-1979, 'Yaozhou'Bowl (inventory no. P274).

Condition

The persimmon-glazed bowl in overall good condition, but with some irregularities in the glaze from firing. The 'Jian' bowl with approx. 1/4th of the bowl off (in 3 pieces) and re-attached; an associated crack at the well. The'Jian'-style bowl with frits and shallow chips to the rim, and losses to the pooled glaze near the base. The 'Jizhou' bowl with minor firing imperfections and wear to the surface.
