Description

  • Bronze with silver inlay; wood stand Dalbergia
all supported on three short tapered feet, the exterior intricately inlaid in silver wire with three peony blooms amidst scrolling leaves divided by three bats suspending beribboned chimes, the base centered with two-character Shi Sou mark

Condition

In overall good condition with wear and tarnish to the silver inlay. There are five small rectangular patches, two of which are to the body and three to the underside of two feet, the largest measuring 1.2 cm wide. There is surface wear and signs of a previous cleaning, as well as minor dents and pitting. The interior has oxidation and wear.
