the steep rounded sides rising to a flared rim, the interior and base glazed white, with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue; together with a pair of 18th/19th century blue-glazed gilt-painted 'dragon and shou' dishes with the character an inscribed to the base, each marked with a six-character Qianlong seal mark in underglaze blue (3)

Condition

The bowl has scattered small chips and minute frits to the rim (largest chip approx. 8 mm) and the original gilt decoration of dragons has worn away entirely. There are minor manufacturing imperfections, and expected wear to the surface and footring (including fine scratches to the glaze). The dishes are in mostly good condition but with some wear and retouching to the gilt decoration, minor expected wear to the surfaces and footrings, minute burst glaze bubbles, and each has the character "an" chipped into the base.
