each decorated with a pair of confronting phoenix amidst cloud scrolls, one base with a Jiaqing seal mark, two with Daoguang seal marks, one with a Tongzhi mark, all marks with six characters and in underglaze blue (4)
Condition
The Jiaqing dish has an approx. 3 x 7-cm section out (comprising four smaller sections) and restored; additionally, there are four hairline cracks from the rim (longest approx. 2 cm) with one associated rim chip; there are scattered frits to the rim; minor expected wear to surface and footring. One Daoguang dish is in overall good condition with only minor expected wear and a few small iron spots. The other Daoguang dish has an approx. 4-cm hairline crack from the rim, minute burst glaze bubbles, and minor expected wear. The Tongzhi dish has scattered chips the rim and minor expected wear.
