decorated on the interior with a five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a 'Flaming Pearl' surrounded by flame scrolls, the exterior similarly decorated with a pair of dragons chasing pearls over a ground of finely incised waves, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue

Condition

In overall fair condition, with a 1.5-cm hairline crack descending from rim and a 5-mm chip to the rim. Some of the black enamel at the bands near the rim worn away. A small glaze gap to the base (diameter approx. 2 mm). Approximately half of the exterior side sprayed.
