Condition

Both panels are in overall good condition. The silk and thread is much more lustrous, flossier and vibrant in color than illustrated in the catalogue. There are some small holes and horizontal tears from rolling and unrolling; there is some fraying of the threads and light staining in places. There is light wear to the surface consistent with age.
