the shallow circular form with a gently curved cavetto rising to a lively lipped-edged, lobed and bracketed Ming-style rim, the stone with a smooth, soft patina and of a rich, mottled cream tone

Condition

The tray is in overall good condition. There are several shallow rim chips, small nicks and a short approx. 3/4 in. crack to the rim. There is wear and some discoloration to the surface consistent with the medium, age and use.
