  • Rosewood Dalbergia
of rectangular form, with a single panel cover and sides with beaded edge, the lower section similarly constructed, with metal hinges, rectangular corner mounts and ruyi-shaped top mounts, the front with a circular lockplate

Condition

The top panel has been consolidated with fill to the sides. There is overall wear, the surface is a bit dry and there is minor splitting, small nicks, scratches and chips consistent with age and use.The mounts are later added. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
