Description

the well potted pear-shaped body rising from a short recessed foot to widely flared trumpet neck, the exterior evenly bathed in a deep maroon glaze, the interior and base glazed white

Condition

Aside from one crack running from the rim to mid-shoulder (approx. 18.5 cm), the vase has only minor firing imperfections, and expected wear to the surface and footring (including a chip to the interior of the footring).
