the globular body rising from a tapered base to a cylindrical neck, painted in bold enamels with knotted and twisting peach tree boughs laden with ripe fruit, blossoms, buds and leaves, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark

Condition

The vase with expected surface wear (including minor abrasion to enamels and fine shallow scratches to the glaze), plus a shallow chip and frit to a peach (approx. 1.6 x 1.2 cm), and minor firing imperfections throughout (including small burst glaze bubbles and iron spots to the body). The interior with some pitting and iron-colored discoloration.
