each of barrel form, with raised bosses at the top and base, the sides and top of the seat with pierced coin motif painted with prunus blossoms centering a field of bold lotus amidst dense scrolled foliate vines, with a collar of ruyi and prunus, the foot encircled by a band of upright leaves (2)

Condition

Both seats in overall good condition with only minor firing imperfections (including iron spots and tiny burst glaze bubbles), and very minor wear to the footring and surface (including some fine brown lines at the upper edge of the stools). One stool with frits to two lower studs.
