the first a blue and white bowl of an iron-red and underglaze blue heavily potted bowl with flaring sides, the exterior with a dragon and phoenix reaching for the same 'flaming pearl' amid clouds and flames over a turbulent sea, the base with an apocryphal Kangxi mark; the second an ogee form decorated with bands of diaper pattern and auspicious emblems, the base with a pair of fish in underglaze blue (2)
