the shallow conical sides resting on a short foot, the interior medallion molded with a phoenix in flight, encircled at the cavetto by six panels each enclosing a jardinière of flowers, all below a keyfret band, covered in an ivory-white glaze

Purchased in Hong Kong, 1960s - 1970s.

Condition

Minor firing imperfections throughout including a network of fine glaze cracks and scattered iron spots. The rim reduced all around and with one shallow chip. Expected wear to the footring.
