modeled in the form of a prunus flower with the gently rounded sides rising from a slightly splayed foot, the interior with vertical ridges extending from the five-lobed rim, covered overall with a transparent glaze, together with a small yingqing flower-form box and cover (3)

Condition

Most of the rim of the bowl polished, and with a couple minor shallow chips and a few hairline cracks (longest approx. 1 cm); expected wear to the surface including minor scratches to the glaze and fine abrasion to the raised ring in the well; minor expected wear to footring. The jar in overall good condition with minor imperfections in shape from manufacturing process, and minute expected wear.
