Description

of quadrilobed form, the shallow rounded sides rising from a flat base, molded to the interior with a central floral roundel surrounded by four stylized leaves, the cavetto with alternating diaper patterns, covered overall with a green glaze, the base with three spur marks

Condition

The glaze with a few small shallow frits to the glaze, another to the interior (approx. 2 x 3 mm), chipped at three places on the base, and worn away at the rim of one lobe (approx. 6 cm). Minor firing imperfections in the glaze (expected fine craquelure throughout).
