the deep rounded sides resting on a short foot, decorated overall with spontaneous amber splashes on a dark brown ground in imitation of tortoiseshell, the lustrous glaze falling short of the foot to reveal part of the white slip underneath and the mottled buff-colored stoneware body

Condition

There is a small chip to the foot rim, measuring approx. 0.3 cm wide. Otherwise, the bowl is in overall good condition with some general surface wear and minor firing imperfections.
