the deep rounded sides rising from a short splayed foot to a slightly lipped rim, covered overall with a lustrous black glaze, the interior with russet striations, the glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the pale buff-colored stoneware body

Condition

There is an approx. 2.2 cm wide chip to the foot; otherwise, the bowl is in overall good condition with some minor firing imperfections.
