the two board top set within a frame and joined to everted flanges at either short end, the cusped and beaded apron extending to cloud-scroll spandrels, flanking rectangular section beaded legs joined by double stretchers and terminating in barbed, tapering feet

Condition

The top panels with several patch and filled repairs from shrinkage. The everted flanges have been reattached - one too far forward and at an angle. There is a split to one long side of the frame that extends to both short ends. There are many filled and patch repairs to the legs, feet and aprons. It is possible that the double stretchers have been replaced. The feet with spliced on ends. The surface with staining and wear consistent with age. The joinery is very loose. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
