the deep, ovoid body raised on three gently sloping feet of tapered triangular section, the mouth rim everted and spreading to a point on one side, the reverse a curved spout between two upright finials, the body with a band of two stylized taotie separated by a vertical ribbed flange, one with a beast mask handle arched over the center, the base with impressed Chen Mingyuan zhi seal

Condition

The vessel with the spout, both posts, and one leg (under the spout) broken off and re-attached. One of the posts replaced. A D-shaped area of restoration to the lower body, and scattered retouching throughout (e.g., to the flange beneath the spout).
