one with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim supported on a broad ring foot, of semi-translucent pale-pink glass, the other of slightly shallower form with fluted sides, of semi-translucent aubergine color (2)

Provenance

Acquired in Boston 1940s-1960s, and thence by descent.

Condition

The pink dish in overall fair condition with only three noticeable bubbles (largest is to the interior, approx. 3 x 6 mm), and minor expected wear to the surface. The purple dish in overall fair condition with only minor expected surface wear and minute shallow frits to the rim.
