the hemispherical body rising to a waisted neck and flared mouth, incised with three archaistic dragon medallions and the exterior covered in a soft mushroom-pink translucent glaze with scattered concentrations of green spots, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The washer with one continuous crack across the base and extending up both sides (approx. 32 cm) with an associated crack at the base and a circular crack at the base (diameter approx. 8 cm), all of which are repaired with metal staples and a small amount of adhesive at the base. There is a chip at the rim, minor firing imperfections (including green copper spots in the glaze), and a flake at the base.
